Madness Made to Order - Part One

Frederick R Smith has moved to Frederick R. Smith Speaks (substack.com)

Madness Made to Order - Part One

This six-part essay covers a lot of subjects and associated controversial topics. Readers may find some passages to be hyperbole or simple-minded sophistry. Nevertheless, it is an act of love to the good side of humanity in general and the people of America in particular. Tough love. Apologies offered for the sometimes colorful language.

As a historical and contemporary treatise, the overarching goal is an attempt to explain the reasons behind the current rapid fall of humankind. The cause in summary: a “Satan Bug” mental infestation of people around the world. Hopefully, through a combination of historical analysis, recapping of events, and analysis readers will have a mental realization. The late great positive Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (1869-1948) is the inspiration behind these words. The Gandhi Antidote: imperceptible and peaceful means together in a communal setting to produce strength in numbers to end the Satan Bug.

Part One, Mental Blindness, explores the cognitive mental disorientation foisted upon the common people. As a tour beyond the basic “money and power” explanation, a pattern of exploitation and made-to-order conflict appears.

For those who would prefer to watch or listen to a top-shelf exposé that mirrors much of the content of this essay, check out Victor Davis Hanson on the Assault on Meritocracy, Politicization of the Virus, and the Platonic Noble Lie. Another gem is Dear Black People: Jason Whitlock Explains the Marxist Agenda Behind Race Controversies.

Mental Blindness

“Some ideas are so stupid that only intellectuals believe them” – George Orwell

The whole truth, or the story behind the story, is an elusive quest. Decades of research and analysis prove that the extraordinary events of 2020 and 2021 are indeed prophetic. Much of the far-fetched and speculative writings from the turn of the century forecasting doom and gloom have proven to be spot-on. Nevertheless, more recent developments such as “woke” big businesses inflamed your author’s desire to figure out the nexus behind this new element of the mad machine or programming we suffer. As context, woke, is a term akin to awaking; a worshiping to the new pseudo-religious cult of hyper-political-correctness. Also, see Frederick R. Smith Speaks; Best Books to Buy, June 9, 2021.

Money, power, and greed supply a simplistic explanation for the latest fad, woke neo-capitalists. Ever wonder why we call Television (Tell You Vision) broadcast “programming”? Inquiring minds not yet under the influence of the programming system have an opportunity to read more about it here. Briefly, and as later explained in detail in Part Three, the woke corporations engage in a new form of Marxism or Neo-Marxism. That is, rather than using a class struggle, they employ race under the Hegelian Dialectic in their chess game. This switch from class struggle to race is a self-preservation tactic. Otherwise, the overlords will be victims of classic Marxism (class struggle). It is a switch and bait tactic.

And of course, the sexual confusion nexus is an integral part of this power play. This snippet from “The Catholic Loop” (June 30, 2021) is an iconic example of the programmed promotion of gender confusion:

The Women’s Liberation Front is accusing Gov. Gavin Newsom, D-CA, of violating the constitutional rights of incarcerated women by allowing men who identify as women into their living quarters. Lauren Adams, a spokeswoman for the group, said: “We are working with a woman who was punched in the face so hard by a new transfer that she couldn’t chew for three days. He was taken away and released back in a different yard with no restrictions. He was her cellmate. She had to sleep with him.” California currently has 273 transfer requests, of which 266 are people housed at male institutions requesting to be transferred to a female institution.

And there is this treasure from the “Loop” (July 3, 2021):

The Commonwealth of Virginia said local schools should “eliminate gender-based practices” under new transgender rules. Such events as “father-daughter dances” may be discontinued under new guidance by the state’s Department of Education. “Gender-based policies, rules, and practices can have the effect of marginalizing, stigmatizing, and excluding students, regardless of their gender identity or gender expression,” stated a guidance issued by the state’s Education Department.

The gender fluidity factor supplies the evil elitists with two bangs for the buck. Not only does it fit hand in glove with their radical racial weapon to divide and conquer America, but it is also a great population reduction instrument. And shall we not forget this newfound “pleasure” masks the reality of our Freedom In Chains.

Meanwhile, the mad machine tells us to “follow the science.” For example, during the Covid-1984 lock-downs, Pennsylvania’s then Health Secretary (a doctor who self-identified from his to her gender), in concert with other states, “followed the science” to impose unconstitutional restrictions. Later, during hearings to confirm this doctor to a federal Health and Human Services (HHS) post, “follow the science” turned into a Frankenstein show. A senator asked the doctor about the medical community’s use of chemical and surgical procedures to “transition” pre-teens. The good doctor refused to answer any questions about this issue. No problem, HHS has its high-level appointee. “Follow the science.” Really? Gag me with a spoon. The same cadre of “scientists” and “experts” lecture us to “follow the science” regarding Covid-1984 and the “horror” of carbon dioxide. Stockpile your soda pop.

It is a wonder to watch the wealthy talking heads proclaiming their guilt (and the guilt of subordinates). Indeed, it is a guilt in the form of a boil they need to lance. It is the privilege of their crummy sheepskin from a crummy Ivy League institution that builds up to an itch from a boil that is about to burst. Going about their shielded lives among their truly privileged peers, they have deep guilt seeing Joe the plumber pushing the dung down their toilets. So, to relieve this boil, and hide their deep-seated disgust of those not in their league (does not matter what race), they use race to make it all feel better. It is all akin to mental masturbation.

As architects of the programmed racism, the above boil-infested privileged are indeed the true, but well-hidden (in plain sight), race-baiting supremacists. Their hyper-pandering is the fuel to fire up the programming mad machine. The projected fake reality is an oppressed Billionaire Oprah Winfrey (because she is African American) while Joe the struggling white plumber is the misogynistic oppressor.

The proliferation of various forms of media (broadcast, cable, satellite, broadband, and internet) during the past two decades fueled an explosion of data. Thus, we are subject to a whirlwind of information, and entities with power and money dominate the flow of information. Another wonderful tool for the redirection masters. The one-time free speech experts now openly engage in copious censorship. Incidentally, the MS Word computer application used to draft this essay does not like the word “masters.” That is a dog whistle, and the computer insists on a gender-neutral word. Surprising it does not jump out as a hate speech flag for something else hyper-magnified by the media programming mad machine. Regardless, go pound sand MS.

Fakebook (progressive), YouTube (progressive), Twitter (progressive), and media web out-let pages (mostly progressive), tout their murder of free speech for “safety of the consumer” reasons. Meanwhile, this well-lubricated wheel will sequel to announce the dominance of the conservatives on broadcast radio. Some balance, what a laugh. The programming mad mad mad machine does the dirty work for the government. We have an illusion of equilibrium through the programming consisting of “balance” through the “differences” of collectivist, statist, progressive, and leftist ideology just like “as seen on TV” in (anti)intellectual venues like “The View.” And according to this stalwart of truth, those “conservative” outliers are just “fake news” of the right-wing “conspiracy theory nexus.” What a bunch of bubble soap (WABOBS). But as we shall see, this right-wing element of the nexus is a requirement under the Hegelian Dialectic as later described in detail.

The collectivists believe they are correct and alternative views be dammed. “My (collectivist) way or the highway.” They just keep on drinking the same slime believing the way to their utopia is to pile on more of the same old slop drop with new flavors to trick the indoctrinated sheeple. They will never admit to a mistake. Failed socialism shall be fixed by new flavors of collectivism. We shall not disrespect the god of group identity.

While people have free will, most of us have a worldview shaped by our educational and media experiences. A small number of people with more inquiring minds instinctively break away from the mental slavery called “the narrative.” This includes banal schools of thought that pit the people into two predominant groups: conservative and liberal. There are exceptions such as people who might have a liberal social desire with a conservative governmental view (e.g., transsexual Caitlyn Marie Jenner). It makes perfect sense why the mainstream swooned over Jenner, then suddenly dropped their pandering with that person’s bid for California governor. Why? Jenner is a libertarian (small government proponent), and the overlords want the opposite. It is all about “democracy” we know. As we shall see, the “democracy” touted by the mad machine is nothing more than a cult illusion of fiat “freedom” but in reality, an existence under the control of an all-seeing and all-knowing Leviathan. It is simply all just a dumbocracy.

Of course, we all know the babble concerning what media outlets project as a conservative or liberal worldview. Rather than wasting our time going down that rabbit hole, it is proper to simply declare that these social constructs are part of the power play. There is an alternative source of facts and truth that will become clear.

So far, we begin to see a pattern. Regardless of which side of the narrative one might fit into the programming, there is conflict. As humans, because of our fallen nature, we stoke the fire. Nevertheless, within most social constructs there are the inevitable “two sides.” This is the quintessential element of society that the overlords abuse to ensure their power. Most have heard the modern mantra about not letting a crisis go to waste. In Part Two, we shall visit the birth of this power play under the Hegelian Dialectic discussion.

Before moving along, it is necessary to describe the overlords. These are the influential luminaries. Typically, this group consists of the very wealthy, but other “influencers” exist in the corporate world, media, academia, non-government organizations (a.k.a., NGOs), government, military, religions, and all the other organs of society. It is factual to state that most have a collectivist liberal worldview with some in the neoconservative camp. Your author met one.

In an unfortunate encounter spanning a couple of hours, a retired (thankfully) medical doctor whose identity will remain anonymous, openly told your author that the “unnecessary” unborn and extremely sick folk just need to be “taken care of.” This “care” is not in line with the expectations of the previously followed Hippocratic Oath. This same professional (wink, wink) had an endless “F” word tic and used other assorted obscenities to show he suffered from an acute case of Trump derangement syndrome. With an opening in the Supreme Court at the time of our encounter, the modern equivalent of Dr. Mengele also had a bout of anxiety. At the time of this horrifying encounter, a Justice had just retired (Kennedy, July 31, 2018). The good doctor (cough, cough) went into collectivist orbit about the likelihood of a replacement justice not conforming to his progressive-leftist worldview. Your author could not get a word in edgewise. A one-sided one-way monolog by a megalomaniac. Did this encounter make Fred hate all doctors? Of course not.

Genuine conservatives and libertarians are a “made to be” small minority and as such have minimal impact and are typically nothing more than pests in the eyes of the overlord’s impossible quest to their prize, a utopia. It is important to mention classical liberalism as that “wing” truly espouses such things as freedom of speech (e.g., Alan Dershowitz). We need more people like Alan to step up to the plate. Our precious liberty (freedom) is under full attack from today’s neo-Marxist organs such as big tech. The term Neo-Marxist will become clear upon further reading of this essay.

As this essay shows, the overlords use (or abuse) these minorities as a part of the quest to their updated utopia, a Newtopia (a.k.a. The Great Reset). The term “overlord” can also mean a non-person entity, a mental virus, or cancer in the psyche of the masses. What a bunch of over-loads.

Today we hear about “equity” from the overarching liberal mobocracy and at the same time a warning (rightly so) about Marxism from the (downtrodden) conservatives. Still, the overlords desire these opposing views. They need the mainstream conservative (usually neoconservative) view to continue the power play (division). The overlords use this system to usher in their (impossible) dream. It is a nightmare and Fox is the controlled opposition. This mainstream “news” organ has a lot of neoconservative overlords.

Realizing this power play, the door opens to a psychological element of humankind that we suffer — mind-blindness. We all proclaim the “truth” or facts based on what we hear and see. To awaken from this etched-in blindness causes a terrible storm in the mind. At the turn of the century, your author suffered from this mental tornado upon realizing much of the projection occurred thru a mad machine akin to Pravda. The truth does set you free mentally and hopefully spiritually, but it is like surgery without anesthesia. No pain, no gain.

Just like a professional magician’s trick, it is a matter of redirection or deception. Make the masses see and hear the proclaimed big stories every day to divert attention from the more important event unfolding behind the curtain. It is just brilliantly evil. The indisputable big story is the inevitable total crash of society due to the astronomical creation of money out of thin air. And for a show of partisanship, both major parties account for this hideous pocket-picking. Ever wonder why and how so many billions go to foreign countries? It is simply a money-laundering scheme whereby shadowy business characters linked to the politicians get their share of the booty. Likewise, think again if you believe all the trillions for Covid go to Covid “relief.” This applies to both crummy parties, with the Democrats just a bit more open about their addiction to thin air (fiat) money.

Even more sinister is the showering of federal money into states with strings attached. For example, the requirement to change local zoning laws as a prerequisite for certain projects with no regard for the affected residents. See Joe Biden out to wage war on America’s suburbs.

Like it or not, it is not a matter of if, but when the new crash will make the Great Depression look like a walk in the park. Unfortunately, the mentally anesthetized masses are willing to forgo freedom, as the overlords have a plan that will supply their fiat comfort. This will make us, serfs, under the Great Reset (a.k.a. New World Order).

For those who scoff at a New World Order, the following is from page 950 of Carroll Quigley’s book Tragedy and Hope – A History of the World in Our Time:

This myth, like all fables, does in fact have a modicum of truth. There does exist, and has existed for a generation, an international Anglophile network which operates, to some extent, in the way the radical Right believes the Communists act. In fact, this network, which we may identify as the Round Table Groups, has no aversion to cooperating with the Communists, or any other groups, and frequently does so. I know of the operations of this network because I have studied it for twenty years and was permitted for two years, in the early 1960s, to examine its papers and secret records. I have no aversion to it or to most of its aims and have, for much of my life, been close to it and to many of its instruments. I have objected, both in the past and recently, to a few of its policies (notably to its belief that England was an Atlantic rather than a European Power and must be allied, or even federated, with the United States and must remain isolated from Europe), but in general my chief difference of opinion is that it wishes to remain unknown, and I believe its role in history is significant enough to be known.

Carrol Quigley (1910-1977) taught at the Foreign Service School of Georgetown University and formerly taught at Princeton and Harvard. Dr. Quigley researched for this book over the course of 20 years. His source materials were the notes from the secret organizations that controlled financial capitalism worldwide. He was granted access to this information from his personal associations as a blue-blood Ivy League historian. Once this book was published in 1966, the publisher recalled all the printed copies and smashed the printing plates. Thanks to digitization, copies abound, and this book reveals an unflinching honesty. Also see Frederick R. Smith; Nasty New World Order, September 28, 2020.

For the overlords’ ultimate and vile goal, your author says go pound sand, you evildoers. You know who you are, just like the modern equivalent of Dr. Mengele described above. Few people will believe this or will just scoff it off as “not in my lifetime.” That is a cavalier attitude as related to the young people of society. The ultra-rich debased woke overlords and nasty neoconservatives will have all their material things, food, and armed security. The pinnacle example occurred on July 2, 2021. That is a camera crew with NBC Bay Area in the middle of an interview with Guillermo Cespedes, head of violence protection in Oakland, California. There, two robbers interrupted, holding up the crew and Cespedes. A scuffle ensued until a security officer protecting the news crew pulled out his firearm and ordered the robbers to leave. This news was about a defund the police initiative.

The rest of us cogent unwoke folk and low-level woke folk will be elements of the population reduction pogrom. Does it not make you wonder about the call for disarmament by the very people who shall have their armed guards, just like above, during the end game? Just another form of projection (stay tuned). The really powerful top-of-the-crop overlords such as Klaus Schwab will devour the common liberals during the Great Reset. Liberals like Bill Mayer get it. If you are a liberal or even a programmed conservative, check out what liberal comedian Bill Maher has to say about all this. While he has a foul mouth that needs washing out with a bar of soap, he gets it. The also foul-mouthed late comedian George Carlin knew about the programming system and warned us. George called it the Big Club.

How about the mad machine’s occasional clamor about the necessity to make the rich pay more? Of course, nothing happens, because the over-loads own the narrative. Just like the latest news about how certain billionaires paid zero federal tax. That news quickly faded away and got buried under hyper-intensified racial strife. The magician’s redirection in warp drive. The real enemy (Neo-Marxism) hides in plain sight.

Some years ago, your author had a very lengthy debate with a friend about big bad business vs. big bad government. In a typical conservative vs. liberal dialog, your anti-collectivist (subsidiarity, traditional religion, paleo conservatism, libertarianism, and classical liberalism) author defended big business and opposed the big government. In a stunning admission to my progressive friend, he was correct; big business (with exceptions) is indeed bad (for a different reason). Therefore, small business and a small, decentralized government is the ticket (see below, subsidiarity). It is likely that my friend now will rally for big businesses for reasons that will be clear upon reading this essay to completion (Part One through to Part Six).

The Acton Institute describes the principle of subsidiarity as:

One of the key principles of [traditional] Catholic social thought is known as the principle of subsidiarity. This tenet holds that nothing should be done by a larger and more complex organization which can be done as well by a smaller and simpler organization. In other words, any activity which can be performed by a more decentralized entity should be. This principle is a bulwark of limited government and personal freedom. It conflicts with the passion for centralization and bureaucracy characteristic of the Welfare State. [Emphasis added]

Canadian William D. Gairdner, in his stunningly informative book, The Trouble With Democracy, at page 179 describes how far we have gone off the subsidiarity rails:

… four almost four hundred years, there has been an accelerating effort in for the Western world to dissolve and weaken the legal, moral, and social bonds of civil society. Millions of voluntary associations have suffered a weakening of their legal, economic, and moral powers through extensive and highly intrusive state regulation. Parents have less power over their children; families and marriages are burdened—even punished—by tax codes, and have lost most of their former exclusive protections and status in law (we have yet to understand that removing exclusivity by extending it to all is a way of removing status); teachers are ever more powerless; employers are shackled by labour policies, taxation, and micro-regulation; and property owners have lost traditional powers of exclusion, self-direction, and self-defense. Meanwhile, the centralizing state has in turn been preying on all lower forms of government, pushing into local municipalities to usurp control, and state and provincial governments have in turn preyed on their own municipal governments, seizing control, and downloading cost. The massive loss of community bonds, responsibility, control, and local security has induced an ever-stronger embrace of state identity and security (and of gated communities, private police, alarm systems, and guard dogs) as a kind of replacement community.

As a stunning example of the antithesis to subsidiarity, a local school district received a 1.6 million dollar federal relief grant. To receive this grant for “Covid” efforts, the school district had to agree to make the children wear masks for the September 2021 opening. Rest assured; this money will only go to Covid relief (wink, wink). In another example of government help, The USDA Is Set To Give Black Farmers Debt Relief.

Update! Here is another example of big brother’s help that will surely succeed (wink, wink). In an attempt to get everybody “vaccinated,” President Joe Biden on July 6, 2021, said: “We need to go community-by-community, neighborhood-by-neighborhood, and oft times door-to-door, literally knocking on doors.” Will Fred’s neighbor who has Parkinson’s Disease get the knock? Her doctor does not want her to receive the Covid-1984 shot.

Stay tuned. Part Two will explore “The Philosophical Lineage” with a historical review focused on the “Age of Enlightenment.” While this intellectual movement spawned the modern age with many positive outcomes, we can see a pattern of the negatives that coalesced into the collective nexus.

Best Books to Buy

Frederick R Smith has moved to Frederick R. Smith Speaks (substack.com)

Your author has a peculiar addiction – books. It is a good thing the bookcases sit on the concrete floor of the basement to support the weight. With hundreds of books dealing with a variety of topics from geopolitics, religion, and history, there are a select number of favorite works summarized here for you and to perhaps “whet your appetite.” Of particular importance, these books appeared twenty or more years ago. Going through these works from cover-to-cover back then was akin to reading a prophecy that in recent times came true in every sense. These books from the turn of the century pinpoint the who, what, when, and where of the Covid-1984 plan-demic and the money madness of 2021.

The Creature from Jekyll Island: A Second Look at the Federal Reserve by G. Edward Griffin

Top of the list purposely; if you only desire one book to read, get this puppy! Author Fred Griffin takes you through a journey about money. From the beginning of organized society to modern time, “Creature” explains the origins of currency from bartering, to precious metals, to today’s fiat (worthless) money. The key historical theme is the banking cartel called the Federal Reserve birthed by the elite on Jekyll Island, North Carolina in 1913. If you take this journey, you can learn all about the real programs that make certain people very wealthy by Ponzi schemes. Written long before Enron and the Enron-like scandals, this book explains in excruciating detail that such schemes are the basis for our entire monetary system. Also see Frederick R. Smith Speaks, Creature from Jekyll Island (July 17, 2020). Published May 1998, Amer Media, 608 pages.

Hope of the Wicked by Ted Flynn

This book explains the news behind the news. Ted Flynn takes reliable information from many diverse sources and puts it together in one concise volume. For the discerning reader, it is hard to put down. The principal theme of this book is the small number of elite people who have the power to manipulate society. From Amazon: Politics has become but a tool for chaos; the solution for the ills confronting us exists far beyond. How have we arrived at the point we find ourselves, a point defined by the lack of ability to even govern our own future? If we can no longer determine our temporal destiny, then what does? The answers lie in a vast tangle of forces, organizations, individuals and philosophies, a tangle purposely confusing so as to avoid detection, a mass bound together tangibly by the desire of money and power, intangibly by the very essence of deceit. Published May 2000, Maxkol Communications, 550 pages.

Cloning of the American Mind: Eradicating Morality through Education by B. K. Eakman

The top pick from Fred’s library that details the lousy school system that our children and young adults must endure. This work goes deep into the system and chronicles the how and why our citizens face programming. B. K. Eakman’s book is a large tome full of copious notes that shows without a doubt there is a reason our children are doing so poorly. It shows a failing school system is the best way to control the people. From Robert Brown (Amazon review): “Ms Eakman mentions hundreds of tax-free foundations, non-governmental organizations (NGO), and socialist psychologists and philosophers like John Dewey, Horace Mann, and B.K. Skinner among many others who have created this current educational fiasco. Besides schooling, this ruling elite have also used the movies, entertainment (sports saturation), and news media to spread their propaganda.” Also see Frederick R. Smith Speaks, Nauseating NEA (August 1, 2020). Lesson – get the children out of the public schools, it is an investment well worth the effort. Published August 1998, Huntington House Publishers, 600 pages.

The Keys of This Blood: The Struggle for World Dominion Between Pope John Paul II, Mikhail Gorbachev, and the Capitalist West by Malachi Martin, Anne Kepler (Contributor)

My favorite writer, the late Fr. Malachi Martin, authored this book. The Keys of this Blood is one of four books by Martin that your author has read, and this is an exceptionally large book that chronicles the relationships between big money and religion. However, money is just one of many themes of this book. As an insider for many years, Martin supplies a comprehensive account of the struggle for control of the temporal world vs. the spiritual. Anti-Catholic types tout this work as “proof” that the “New World Order” really is a Vatican program! Nevertheless, today it is clear certain counterfeit leaders of the Church are indeed cheerleaders for the New World Order. If one were to selectively take passages from the book it is easy to make this point but reading the entire work (like reading the entire Bible) it becomes clear that it is about the struggle between secularism and salvation. Just before Malachi passed away, he said, “look to the sky.” Rest in peace my friend Malachi. Published September 1991, Simon & Schuster, 736 pages.

Defrauding America by Rodney Stitch

This is the most disturbing book in the collection. This is a book that you will never see in a bookstore, it is too hot to handle. Rodney Stitch was a Federal Aviation Administration inspector who tried to blow the whistle about corruption several years ago. As a result of his attempt to blow the lid off the code of silence, Rodney found himself in trouble with the law for trumped-up and false charges. As a result, he was subject to “diesel therapy” (movement from prison to prison) and while incarcerated he met many others who had the goods about deep corruption. This is one book that is so fantastic it seemed mostly fiction the first time through it. However, after doing added research and reading it a second time your author concluded that Rodney is right. Digesting this book will promptly result in a bout of nightmares for the reader. Published April 2001, Diablo Western Press, 753 pages.

The Trouble With Democracy: A Citizen Speaks Out by William D. Gairdner

Written from a Canadian’s perspective, this book is an excellent compendium of the history and philosophy of democracy. William Gairdner explains in detail that the “democracy” we hear about day in, and day out is not what our founders had in mind. For an understanding of how collectivist philosophers such as John Stewart Mill and others have influenced most aspects of society, this book is a real winner. Anonymous reader (Amazon review): In his own words, Mr. Gairdner's book is a look under the hood of democracy. Not just a surface look at things like who gets to vote or analysis of various political ideologies but a detailed look at the component parts of democracy, how they developed and how they interact. It is no small undertaking but Mr. Gairdner draws liberally on history, psychology and philosophy along with smatterings of literature, sociology and science and is, ultimately, reasonably successful. He certainly generates a good deal that is worth some careful thought.” Published March 2001, Stoddart Publishers, 534 pages.

Environmental Overkill: Whatever Happened to Common Sense? by Dixy Lee Ray, Lou Guzzo, Dixie Lee Ray, Louis R. Guzzo

Dixy Lee Ray, who served as the governor of Oregon, writes about the extremism often associated with the environmental movement. In this fine work, Ray exposes the lies and distortion about things such as PCB’s. Also, learn about some of the extraordinary cases that destroyed the livelihood of people for environmental issues that have had little to no positive effect on the earth. This book shows that certain zealous environmental policies can harm the environment. Zon Fan (Amazon review): “This book should be required reading in every high school. Factually shows the environmentalists are nothing more than a front for the International Socialist Party. Even more astonishing, the book shows science is not on the side of the environmentalists; their stance is all make believe with actual data against them. Highly recommend this book for those seeking the truth. It's laughable that all the one star reviews discrediting the book are not verified purchasers. Seek the truth.” Published April 1994, Perennial, 260 pages.

When Nations Die: Ten Warning Signs of a Culture in Crisis by Jim Nelson Black

This book is a scholarly treatise about the moral rot that has infected our society. Dr. Black takes you on a tour of the moral debauchery that destroyed the Roman Empire, and he concludes that we are in the same situation today. This book shows that we have been on a slippery slope for some time. It paints a bleak picture based on the historical record of the same decadence that has happened over and over in the past. Incredibly, a few years ago a progressive neighbor scoffed at my observations concerning the contents of this book. He said it is hogwash that the moral condition has anything to do with a fall of any nation. We need to seek out my progressive neighbor and ask him about the new commercials shown on broadcast TV about the product used to shave pubic hair. Specifically, the mini bikini thing with footage doing just that (this is not a joke). I can imagine the response from my enlightenment neighbor. Dew (Amazon review): “When Nations Die is a book that I recommend every American read. It is a staggering book, in following the falls of other great nations it is fearful that America is going the same direction. I also recommend that you read this book ASAP, for America is following the road of declining very fast, we know not how long until we may be added to the list of When Nations Die. I plead with you please read.” Published October 1994, Tyndale House, 280 pages.

Heaven on Earth: The Rise and Fall of Socialism by Joshua Muravchik

For a detailed history of socialism from the very beginning to the modern world, this one is the ticket. My favorite chapter is the comprehensive account of the commune known as New Harmony (Indiana, circa 1825). The author, Joshua Muravchik, himself a staunch socialist early in his life, came to realize the collectivism in any form simply does not work. The Utopian idea has been a failure repeatedly for all the experiments from the French Revolution to Communism and finally to today’s hidden socialism sometimes called the “third way.” Craig Kennedy (Amazon Review):
“Heaven on Earth is a captivating intellectual history of the first rank. When I first heard about this book, I imagined 450 dense pages devoted to socialism's political splits, rivalries and intellectual schisms over the past two centuries. Not a very inviting prospect. The reality is much different. Josh Muravchik tells the story of the socialist idea and of the socialist movement(s) through a series of fascinating vignettes and brief biographies. Starting with the French revolutionary Babeuf and taking the story through the fall of the Soviet Union (and the troubled current state of the Israeli kibbutz movement), Muravchik uses this format to highlight the central philosophical and political issues addressed by the key figures in a particular historical setting. Published April 2002, Encounter Books, 391 pages.

The Black Book of Communism

This book was initially published in France in 1997 as Le livre noir du Communisme and two years later in English as The Black Book of Communism: Crimes, Terror, Repression. Academia said it was “controversial.” The English version, published in 1999 by Harvard University Press, continues to stir the “controversy” mantra. This 858-page tome is among the “life-changing” books that your author read cover to cover. The “Black Book” has six authors. These scholars are not your “red under every bed” types but dyed-in-the-wool socialists who were courageous to detail the crimes committed by the Communist regimes. The chief editor, Stéphane Courtois concludes that the many forms of Communism were no better than Nazism. He avers that both systems were more efficient at killing than at governing. The occult evil of Nazism caused the direct genocide of six million people. (Some references show 21 million-plus for all deaths resulting from the Nazi regime). The 100 million Communist death toll shows that there is a penchant for Communism to kill. This egalitarian philosophy promised to end class distinctions. Nazism on the other hand, while trying to redistribute wealth, was a virulent form of racism. Communism did not discriminate based on race. It was an equal opportunity killer. Same old scheme used today to divide the people (neo-Marxism) under the guise of Critical Race Theory. Specifically, cogent non-woke folk are automatically branded as right wing racist-nationalist-supremacist. The ultimate form of projection whereby the accuser’s do the very thing they decry. Death in the Air: Globalism, Terrorism & Toxic Warfare

Without a doubt, this is the strangest book in the Smith library. Dr. Leonard G. Horowitz details the developments in the field of population control. He supplies copious examples of genetically engineered viruses and bacteria as well as the latest technologies for biological warfare. Included are the disturbing joint exposures to biochemical, metallic, and electromagnetic agents. All this under a global genocide pogrom auspiciously for the good of the earth under the euphemisms of public health and national security. The author details the “chemtrail” controversy, about which your author has some doubts. Otherwise, this is a chilling book and prophetic given the Covid-1984 plan-demic we all just lived under. Dr. Horowitz has contended for years that the main agenda of the globalists is to reduce the population of the world by as much as 50%. To give this book even more credibility, you author has a dear friend who knows this author. For safety reasons, we will stop here. Published May 2001, Healthy World Distribution, 526 pages.

None Dare Call It Treason; 25 Years Later by John Stormer

None Dare Call It Treason is a breathtaking account of the Communist infiltration into our government and other organs of society. Originally written in 1961, Stormer’s updated version shows how the progressives (leftists) and neocons have dominated our schools, churches, press, labor, unions, and State Department for over 70 years. With a focus on the Soviet Union style Communism, the intrigue contained in the book marches on with the added threat of the Chinese Communist Party (e.g., the 1998 book Year of the Rat: How Bill Clinton Compromised U.S. Security for Chinese Cash.) The events and people outlined by Stormer supply a clear view of the reason for the breathtaking control the media has over the average citizen. It is taking a lot longer than Stormer had predicted for the takeover, but it is clear the same Marxist infestation has updated its delivery system. The new delivery mechanisms include the environmental movement (take your pick - global cooling, warming, or change) and the race-bating (divide and conquer) instruments (take your pick - CRT, BLM, or the 1619 Project). Of course, the mainstream vilified this book with vignettes about the author being a “right-wing kook” and generalities about the content while ignoring the facts in the book. Published February 1992, Liberty Bell Press, 640 pages.

WHY DO THEY ACT THAT WAY?

A preparatory for “May you live in interesting times…”  An Ancient Chinese curse

By: Stanley J Alexander, M.D., M.S., FACP, FACR
Clinical Professor of Medicine/Rheumatology (Ret)

As citizens of the United States, we are seeing a great deal of debilitating havoc in our streets, in our school systems, in the country’s leadership, at the border, and in the 4th estate – that is, the media – including paper, electronic and social.

Why? The underlying motive seems to reveal a growing effort to ‘fundamentally change’ the country, putatively, into a socialistic state. While Lenin successfully orchestrated this push eventuating with a revolution in Russia, led by the Bolshevik army, that was greatly facilitated by the yawning divide between the haves (aristocracy) and the have-nots (farmers and workers). Same as with Castro’s Cuba, Mao’s China, North Korea, Cambodia, now some places in South America, etc.

But such a divide has not been seen in the US due to Capitalism’s generation of a perennially strong middle class. Abraham Lincoln presciently stated, “America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we have destroyed our freedoms from within.”

For 240 years we have held strong to our constitutional guarantees, the principles of which are written on our coinage:

Liberty, In God We Trust, and E Pluribus Unum.

Be aware that liberty and equality (socialism) are for the most part mutually exclusive. When our Constitution references equality it really means equal opportunity. Are we finally going to lose that battle? The one for which Patrick Henry declared, “Give me liberty or give me death?”

How have we gotten into this current mess? We are now engaged in an incipient revolution, carried out with the battle cry of Black Lives Matter, with ordinances proffered from Antifa and carried out under the nom de plume or rubric of ‘Systemic Racism’ but facilitated by the smoky haze of a ‘White Guilt’ cloud cover.

In WWII, Antifa (NAZIs) faced off with the likes of BLM (Communists). But now they are perhaps not so strange bedfellows: the enemy of my enemy is now my friend?

Do our good citizens now need to take a knee in honor of past atrocities from certain historic states of our Union, something even the German people (Nazis) did not have to do after the Holocaust? If so, are we still guilty of racism from a long past history, now via the blossoming forth of an ensuing ‘systemic racism?’ The underpinnings of this allegation, the proof that’s in the pudding as it were, seems to relate to the underperformance of Black America as a whole, the high rates of incarcerations therein, alleged execution-style ‘deaths at the hands of police officers,’ and the disproportionate number of deaths from diseases within that population, highlighted by a worldwide pandemic. If not racism what else could it be?

To look for the root cause of this dystrophia, we now need to peel back the layers of that (proverbial) onion; we need to figure out what’s been going on to allow such a perhaps tenuous appellation to hold sway in this country and to deliver us into a state of conflict, turbulence, and confrontation, not seen since the Civil War.

I believe the answer will seem almost too simplistic when portrayed herein; it harkens back to what Patrick Daniel “Pat” Moynihan found while working as the Assistant Secretary of Labor during the Johnson Administration in the mid-1960s, prior to his becoming a US Senator (D-NY), and as part of his doing research on behalf of Pres. Lyndon Johnson for his upcoming commencement speech at Howard University.

At the time Moynihan was surprised, and likely in a state of disbelief, to unearth a particular statistic: after decades of unemployment rates and welfare applications rising and falling in unison, in the 1960s when unemployment went down, welfare application unexpectedly went up — but up in one demographic only. He pointed out that:

  1. Transgenerational poverty persisted almost exclusively among Black families, along with a,
  2. loss of the nuclear family, replaced now with a spurt of Single Parent Families (SPF) – almost always with no fathers present and thus requiring welfare assistance.

Of note, during the 1940s the highest rate of marriage between parents had been within the Black family. Suddenly it had dropped. Now marriage between Blacks had become the lowest, and the rate of Black children with no father went into the 80th percentile. Does that demographic become a problem? You bet!

An associated ‘tangle of pathology’ is seen within the SPF: increased suicides; increased drug use; increased entry into chemical dependency units; increased incarcerations and encounters with the law and figures of authority; and school dropout rates, etc. Wow!

What Happened?

One of the most difficult tasks we have in life is good parenting and to produce good citizens as our progeny. We are not at all prepared for this: babies come with no assembly instruction or YouTube tutorials. There was a book starting in the 40s, Baby and Child Care by renowned pediatrician Benjamin Spock, M.D. As I recall he later retracted some of his teachings as being too permissive, translate that as “flexible and affectionate.” There is now a better handbook which I strongly commend, Why Do They Act That Way by David Walsh, Ph.D.  Lots of examples and checklists are included for practical application.

While a medical student at USC/Keck, there were some classes in child psychology at Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles (CHLA). One professor pontificated that when born, children’s brains were a “Tabula Rasa,” an empty slate and that all of life’s experiences became imprinted thereon. That seemed simplistic at the time, and now we do see that was not fully correct: genetics play a significant role too, especially in things such as ADD, ADHA, autism, Asperger’s, mood disorders, and, later in life, Alzheimer’s. But, to look introspectively at our parenteral roles, let's first look at growth and development in humans and see where we can go wrong.

As we traipse through the 12 Stages of the “Human Life Cycle,” as defined by the American Institute for Leaning, we have likely experienced various lumps, bumps, potholes, and undesignated forks along that pathway. Hopefully not too many fissures.

The first three Stages were pretty easy for us:

  1. Prebirth (Potential);
  2. Birth (Hope); and
  3. Infancy, Age 0-3 (Vitality) - although some friends and acquaintances still seem the have stayed largely in stage 3; or better, stuck in Stages 4-6:
  4. Early (Playfulness) Age 3-6;
  5. Middle (Imagination) Age 6-8; and
  6. Late Childhood (Ingenuity) Age 9-11, through which most of us have enjoyed an orderly transition, whereas too many liberals seem to have had their growth and development arrested therein.

But the most difficult, I believe, is:

  7. Adolescence (Passion) – Age 12-20. And we will come back to that transition in considerable detail. The next three stages are:
  8. Early Adulthood (Enterprise);
  9. Middle Adulthood (Contemplation); then
  10. Mature Adulthood (Benevolence) - Ages 50-80.

Hopefully, we can peacefully reach Stage 10, unscathed; and then become what Rush Limbaugh referenced as “Seasoned Citizens.”

Looking back from that perspective should earn us some introspect or gravitas. From your perspective, what is the key Stage? — Which was the one you liked the best and which was the most turbulent? What have you learned? What would you do differently?

So, why did I pick the Adolescent Stage?

The Answer: Because it’s a triple whammy — It’s a very difficult time for the youngster; it’s challenging for the parent, both boys, and girls and it’s also problematical for society in general. It’s that time when the brains are undergoing growth and development and hormonal changes; So, when L.A.’s DA George Gascon says that we cannot let a 17-year old go to adult court, even if for a heinous crime, and makes the point that their brains aren’t fully developed until age 24, I would counter, “So why do you want to lower the voting age?” in fact shouldn’t y’all delay their voting until age 24 when the brain is better facilitated? The left would counter, “If they can serve in the military, they should be able to vote.”

Of course, I like to quote Winston Churchill here, “If you are not a liberal when you are young, you have no heart; but if you are not a conservative when you are older, you have no brain.”

Is Gascon correct? Yes, the brain is still undergoing further development into the 20s; but not right about letting 76,000 criminals out onto the street. I’ve seen no statistical support for such an action, and ‘it just don’t seem right’ that the victim should suffer less regard than the perp.

There are three fundamental things in the growth and development of the brain: neuronal growth; the production of neurochemical transmitters; and hormone production. In the former, the brain's cells (neurons) undergo a process of growth and pruning, where functional neural pathways are developed. As an example, if rats were ‘blinded’ by having their eyelids sutured shut, later when the eyelids were opened after a lengthy time in ‘rat years,’ the rat will remain blind.

Same with humans: if there is a congenital cataract at birth, if not removed early, that eye will likely remain blind. Same with hearing. So, we should have the neurons, where available, “firing, and wiring.” The unused ones may be “pruned” out or diverted, so the ‘use it or lose it’ principle surely applies here. We learn things like the skills of balance and muscle memory by this mechanism.

In addition to brain cells (neurons), there is connectivity to a myriad of other nerve cells. At the point of near contact (synapse), an electric signal jumps from one cell to a receptor in the next one via a specialized chemical. In turn, we have even more specialized chemicals collectively called ‘neurotransmitters,’ many of which are capable of causing excitation, depression, pain facilitation, or pain amelioration. Then there are hormones, like cortisone and adrenaline, the latter capable of promoting a ‘fight or flight’ response’ — they can also provoke an anger outburst; and on top of that are the ‘sometimes raging sex hormones: testosterone for males much greater than females; and estrogen/progesterone cycles for females.

Then, of course, there are the street drugs now more common to youths. While tobacco use has declined, marijuana and alcohol are used earlier and earlier and methamphetamine and derivatives such as Ecstasy or Molly are available as psychoactive drugs for recreational use, inducing euphoria or a ‘trip’ often followed by amnesia - Want to get away? You got it. How about unprotected sex? Comes with that territory. Note that now boys lose their virginity at about age 13, generally, and girls at age 14! So, there is at least one area where boys are ahead of and outperform the opposite sex — and it ain't math or language!

Cocaine and Fentanyl were never part of the street scene in my youth but your kids may have access here. And of course, there’s the media (TV, Cell phones, and Electronic Games) which has a direct (potentially addicting) effect in this growing “Digital Revolution.” There are telltale signs for alcohol and drug use and even ‘online’ overuse, and Dr. David Walsh’s book, Why Do They Act That Way outlines these cues. At the least, remember, just don’t turn a ‘blind eye.’

It sounds like a heavy-duty task for a teenager, and it is. So, how does s/he handle it: what’s the equipment available? As mentioned, the brain is not fully developed until about age 24, after which tasks are run through the ‘Pre-Frontal Cortex.’ That potion of the brain is directly under the skull, lying under the frontal bone, as the vanguard of the brain’s frontal lobes. It serves as the CEO with its so-called ‘executive function.’ Prior to that area of maturation, the brain circuitry runs more through the limbic system which lies under the mid-brain. The limbic system is involved in emotional and behavioral functions. This Is also involved in motivation, learning, and memory. At the forefront of this somewhat horseshoe-shaped structure lies the amygdala [ah-migh’-duh-la] which is involved in fear and anger, but also joy.

Teens are going to have emotional outbursts due to a combination of triggers in the environment and the limbic system. As a parent, one has to realize this and not get too over disciplinary, just exercise your parenteral responsibility to help guide the teen through this emotional minefield. Some have suggested that God made Adam and Eve adults so He wouldn’t have to deal with that troublesome Stage-7 (only kidding.). But, just think of issues facing a very young single mother with multiple children from various fathers. And even if the father stays, without marriage there may be little motivation for him to participate.

Reverend Jesse Lee Peterson [author of The Antidote] gives a long list of Blacks whose fathers have bolted at about age 2-3. This list includes Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, Rodney King, Malcolm X, Tupac Shakur, Freddy Gray, Mike Tyson, O. J. Simpson, and many more including Rev Peterson himself. And, yes, George Floyd’s mother “Sissy” split from her husband early on and worked hard to keep her family of 5 afloat. No surprise he went bad.

And not just Blacks: Put rock-star Eminem in that category. Ever wonder why he is so angry with his mother? A father gives some breathing space for the mother; offers additional support, guidance, and direction to the child; and with his wife, they together make sacrifices for their children’s future. An abandoned child will become angry both at the father for leaving and the mother for causing that to happen or may blame him/herself. The child may also be subject to abuse from a ‘stand-in father.’

Extended Families can help but it is not the perfect substitution and just doesn’t really remove the aforementioned anger construct. Look at adopted football QB Colin Kaepernick, a very angry, disrespectful person, wearing his ‘Che Guevara Tees’ and ‘Cops are Pigs’ socks, and apparently fully alienating his adoptive White parents. And it appears he wants to blame everyone except himself for his failures, mostly the American system.

My dad was the disciplinarian, so I was surprised when my cousin said he wished that he was his dad, rather than his own easy-peazy going pop. What a surprise it was to hear that. And “spare the rod spoil the child” sounds good, but in my experience, it’s not always the best answer. Just make sure the punishment fits the “crime.” And that goes for loss of privileges. If a child gets home after curfew, dock them the same amount of missed time next evening for going out or for TV watching or cellphone time and maybe cut their driving privileges for a week. Don’t ground them like forever. But don’t forget you’re the parent, you are not their best friend. Again, all this is well covered by Dr. David Walsh.

COMMENTARY:

There are better explanations than systemic racism to explain why the black population’s getting short shrift in some areas. Perhaps the easiest, or presumably least controversial, should come in addressing disparate outcomes in healthcare. One simply has to recognize that there is a greater susceptibility of Blacks to so many metabolic disorders — and it is to a great extent genetic. There is a higher incidence of the gene for diabetes which is 60% more common when compared to Caucasians and cancer 40% higher. Also, hypertension, asthma, cardiovascular disease, and stroke are over-represented in persons of color. Also, rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus, and other auto-immune diseases. Alternatively, receiving care and recovering from such illnesses can entail environmental issues, such as not having sufficient insurance (Medicaid is the pits); insurance coverage improves if one has a good job, which requires motivation and training. But telling people that they are in a subclass won’t fix that.

In regards to lack of social accomplishments, one has to focus again on the SPF, with all the aforementioned economic pathologies that it entails. Since there is a devolution of the Black family over the past few generations, it’s hard to blame antebellum slavery. Things should have gotten better with each ensuing generation, so it cannot be a progression, especially since the Brown Act and the Civil Rights Act legislation of the 1960s. Besides, things appear to have gotten better only until they got worse. Whose fault is that? Politicians? Civil Rights leaders?

And, be aware that increasing the largess to be a parent in such a dysfunctional home environment should be considered as REWARDING FAILURE. It hasn’t worked in the past going back to the Pilgrims.

Much of the denial of the aforementioned Sen. Moynihan’s finding of a “massive deterioration” in Black society associated with transgenerational poverty and relating to the Black [Matriarchal] SPF comes from Race-baiters; the Civil Rights crowd; and Academia, who generally support socialism and therein have a conflict of interest. The NY Times has been cozying up to socialism since WWII and should have lost credibility with being a long-time Holocaust denier, plus its current controversial push for the 1619 Project. Just read James A Michener’s, Chesapeake for a better understanding of that issue. And for a quick tutorial on Moynihan’s findings look up Moynihan’s Scissors on Youtube.

But let me ask y’all a couple of questions:

  1. would a racist country elect a Black president — twice, and a mixed-race VP currently? Would there be Black congressmen at proportionate rates as to that of Blacks in American society? And,
  2. if there is ongoing racism shouldn’t there be pervasive widespread poverty? Note that if you were to carve out the Black population and add up their accumulative wealth, it would make them the 19th wealthiest country in the World!

Also, note that poor school accomplishments come in school districts where Mayors and school superintendents are Black. How can that be racism? An example here in Baltimore - I am sure you can add some others. Now the new focus is on “Reading, Riting, and Racism” -

Oh My!

And, Rev Jesse Peterson, a Black minister from LA, notes that while being born in a broken home Alabama, a Confederate State, things were better there than when he moved North to Gary, Indiana, and then got even worse when he moved West to L.A. So, how did he overcome his troubled past and its affiliated anger?

The treatment for an illness depends on what is causing it. And our country is indeed sick and getting sicker. Historically, people from all over the world came here to partake of our manifold freedoms. But for immigrants to vote more for politicians who would embrace similar authoritarianism to that of the country that they recently abandoned seems counter-intuitive. But now, there becomes a real concern that they will enable the left-wing to “fundamentally change” this country to be just like their old country, with less liberty and more socialism.

The left-wing is aware of the voting proclivities here and helps to usher them in, even if entering illegally, and by using US taxpayers’ monies to underpin the strategy. The same with all minorities, like Black SPFs and the offspring thereof. A Black conservative Quincy McDaniel recently stated that white liberals are the most toxic poison to Blacks and other people of color. So, earning the heart and souls of these populations will be quite difficult. Those white liberals want to REWARD FAILURE, anything (so to speak) to keep Blacks down on the plantation. I know I can get myself into trouble saying that but, please, just “follow the science.”

The current left-wing narrative to ‘fundamentally transform this country’ is now built on that false foundation and the premise of systemic racism. We need to counter that, and one who had been on that journey and successfully negotiated the pitfalls thereof is the above noted Rev Jesse Peterson. His book outlines the journey and the dysfunctions of society and the strategies to overcome them. His book is titled:

The ANTIDOTE - HEALING AMERICA FROM THE POISON OF HATE, BLAME AND VICTIMHOOD.

There are some solutions, the first of which is to quit blaming others for your failures. Finding religion helps, but I don’t mean becoming a jihadist where anger is actually promoted and harnessed. People like Malcolm-X are full of hate and bigotry, rather than the more Christian appellation of, “Love thy neighbor….” But it won’t be easy.

Rev Peterson notes that, “what has been going on for decades is the refusal of most black men (and women - my addition) to do any soul searching.” What Obama did with his comments [on racism] was to create an environment for blacks to blame the police. These were code words for “racism is real, and the problem is white men.” In the Freddy Grey incident, all that Baltimore’s state attorney did by indicting six police officers – three of them black – was to confirm that black people’s problems are other people’s fault. In truth, nothing is going to change for the people in Baltimore – or in America – until they take responsibility for their own lives.

This is true for all men - black, white, yellow, and brown – they have to understand their roles in life and in the family. And they hopefully can turn back to God and realize that they represent Christ on earth. Their role is to be the spiritual head of the family. They have to speak the truth.

“Love is patient, love is kind,” the Apostle Paul said to the Corinthians, “it does not envy it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no records of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices in the truth. It always protects, it always trusts, always helps, always preservers. Love never fails.”

Rev. Peterson went on to note, that, “If men live like this their wives and children will be greatly blessed.” I add: Take responsibility for yourselves and your family.

If you commit to these minimum tenets, good things will happen:

  • set standards to guide your children,
  • help keep them out of trouble, but to accept blame,
  • ensure they graduate from high school,
  • that they get a job after graduation or go to college or trade school,
  • delay marriage until at least age 21, and
  • don’t have children until married.

If this is done, you will break that ‘Cycle of Poverty.’ With this, you can actually start to enjoy those “Equal Opportunities” afforded in our Constitution.
